gA’s Center for Digital Business Transformation was established in 2014 to explore and study the impact of digital technologies and digital transformation of large companies. In particular, the cdBT has focused on how executives are tackling the challenges of the digital economy in terms of strategy formulation, business process reengineering and innovation, use of digital technology and data, organizational redesign and change management.
The center´s first research was executed in 2015 interviewing 144 executives from 75 companies and combining that information with macro-economic, and industrial statistics.
The Academic Director of the cdBT is Raul Katz, President of Telecom Advisory Services LLCand Adjunct Professor of the Columbia Business School, as well as Director of Business Strategy Research, Columbia Institute for Tele-Information. Katz is also gA’s Digital Strategy practice Director.
